Established in 1977, whereby Sudanese and other nationals of Islamic States met to set up the bank, was Faisal Islamic Bank. Known for its one to one services and e-banking amongst other Alrowwad online, ATM, Alrowaad mobile, P.OS, e-registration-deposits, SMS service. The design adopted a manual model, now an identity for which it uses throughout all of its branches.
Located in Port Sudan, Faisal Islamic bank adopts the model identity that Murtada Maaz consultancy has created for it. Three volumes with the frontal volume as the front facade and forming semi circular entrance with arch entrance openings. A curved wall feature with large green openings, on top of which a canopy with the bank label strongly printed above, is located behind the entrance.
Located in Niyala, a three floored brick volume beautifully sits in the landscape. The front facade is cantilevered shaped area with a first-floor facade of horizontal openings, with a combination of different dimensioned arched openings on the second floor; the green openings greatly compliment the brick tone and material.
Located in the heart of the suave city Shandi, a town in northern Sudan situated on the east bank of the Nile River 150 km northeast of Khartoum, The design was a very simple volume, treated by textured wall at the background and glass panel, the extruding facade in front contained the Islamic feature of Faisal Islamic Banks. This focal feature adopts an Islamic theme achieved by the pointed concrete arches throughout all of Faisal Islamic Banks, This focal point will make the building notable to the inhabitants and more welcoming, creating a significant landmark to the area that blends Sudanese features with Islamic facade.
Atbara Branch has an enchanting facade feature. The building is supported by five solid pillars that form a shaded area at the entrance, above is textured extruded L shape volume with textured masonry with glass opening with Islamic Architecture pattern. The right side is a strongly noticeable cube seeming light in contrast with the heavy textured facade; this cube has a clearly strong Bank label stamped on the Centre of it. The upper facade seems like a rotated concrete volume. The overall look an elegant contrast of gray and white tones achieved.
Alzubair Basha branch and the bank stores ground floor contain three main stores, one of which is an existing building store. The roof top is inclined steel and corrugated. The top facade is made of steel and the lower facade is made of a brick wall.
Located in Alriyad in Khartoum City with a facade formed of external emulsion paint dark color, external emulsion paint light color, The volume is made of three different levels, one is the entrance level with pointed arched openings, the middle volume is a curved outwards wall with rotated L shape opening and there are three small pointed arched openings, on top of this volume is a roof terrace. The back of the volume s also pointed arch.
